Why Did Kerry Lose the Election?

Liberals everywhere have asked this same question, screamed it at each other even. How could Kerry have lost the 2004 elections?

I Know the answer.

Where did I find it? From the mouths of all of those I know that voted for Kerry (myself included).

What is this priceless bit of info only I know? Well, if you voted for Kerry, or know someone who did, ask yourself this... Why did you vote for Kerry?
99 times out of 100 the response is something along the lines of "Bush did such and such" or "Bush is such and such" or even "I just F***KING HATE BUSH!!!"
"So" you think as you raise your eyebrow, "What about it?" Simply this, no one actually voted for Kerry!!!
No, seriously! I'm not crazy. You see, no one that voted for Kerry was actually voting for Kerry, they were voting against Bush. You see, Kerry lost because no one cared about Kerry, they either loved or hated Bush. It was all about Bush, the entire election centered on this one man. You were either for Bush or agaisnt him.
The reason this is a bad thing is Kerry was never a very charming guy in the first place. Intelligent, thoughtful, even wise, but Kerry always seemed to be talking at you while Bush seemed (as dumb as he is) to be talking with you. Those people who didn't hate or love Bush were likely drawn to him because he seemed more human and Kerry wasn't the real issue here anyway.

Maybe I didn't explain it in the best way possible, but that's essentially it. Kerry lost cuase no one (not even the liberals) really gave a damn about him.
